Iakovos holds a Captain class A diploma from the Merchant Marine Academy of Syros and all necessary certificates regarding safety on board such as STCW, firefighting appliances, medical care, and first-aid. Additionally, he holds a fast boat license, open water diving, and emergency first response certificate. Before entering the yachting industry, Iakovos worked for many years in the coastal shipping industry, gaining invaluable experience. He is a man of duty and responsibility, able to work hard under pressure and deliver the best results under any circumstances. It is most certain that Captain Iakovos will provide his guests with superb accommodation and they will leave this excellent yacht with lifetime memories.

Chief Engineer / Dimitris Makridopoulos

Dimitris pursued his engineering studies at the Merchant Marine Academy in Athens (Aspropyrgos). After completing his studies, he began his career in shipping, gaining over a decade of experience on board container vessels. Following his extensive tenure in shipping, Dimitris made a career shift to yachting, on board 70-meter Suerte, as 2nd engineer. In 2018, Dimitris achieved his Engineer Class A’ diploma, subsequently assuming the role of Chief Engineer aboard the 55-meter yacht, Shaf. Accumulating valuable experience on both charter and private yachts, he recently joined Mamma Mia in early 2024. Demonstrating remarkable adaptability, Dimitris exhibits a keen willingness to explore various facets and realms within the yachting industry. Outside his professional pursuits. Dimitris is an avid traveler and a passion for swimming.

Nikol has always been attracted to the service industry. Gifted with a natural ability to connect with people, she initiated her career in the restaurant sector, excelling as a store manager and showcasing her exceptional skills with both clients and staff. Recognizing her aptitude for yachting, Nikol transitioned to the maritime field, starting as a stewardess on the 40-meter yacht Amez. Nikol brings valuable enthusiasm and team leadership skills to the MAMMA MIA team, ensuring she goes above and beyond to create an unforgettable experience for guests.

2nd Stewardess / Katerina Katsimiha

Katerina holds a degree in Physical Education & Sport Science with primary specialization in Sailing , was a member of the Greek Sailing National team and is also a Sailing Coach. Apart from her Skipper license she also acquired a speedboat operator license and a Lifeguard certification. In the summer she explores the Aegean in her own sailing boat and the rest of the year she hikes the mountains with her friends and charming dog Lisa. Katerina with her friendly personality and big smile will make sure her guests will have a great time on board.

Bosun / Andreas Deligiannis

Andreas holds a Bosun and Ship Security Officer diploma and all the STCW certificates as well as a speedboat license. He has fourteen years of experience in the maritime industry as he started working onboard Passenger ships of Hellenic Seaways in 2011. He also has a lot of experience in charter luxury yachts so we welcome him on board Mamma Mia and believe he will be a valuable member of our team and bring the best results.
